What We're Seeking:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials for Alabama
• Previous experience in school-based OT settings, with the ability to design and implement IEP-driven interventions
• Familiarity with home health OT practices and the ability to adapt strategies for student environments
• Comfortable conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting progress in compliance with relevant guidelines
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, faculty, and family members
• Organizational efficiency with case management, scheduling, and program evaluation
• Compassionate, resourceful, and committed to fostering independence in every student

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ fine and gross motor skills to determine individualized therapy goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in both school and selected home health settings
• Document interventions, student progress, and collaborate on IEP team meetings
• Educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies for supporting students’ motor and functional needs
• Participate in professional development and maintain compliance with district and healthcare regulatory standards
• Adapt therapy sessions to ensure they are engaging and accessible for each student
