Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist School Setting in Escondido, CA

This full-time position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, providing essential occupational therapy services across several elementary schools in the Escondido, CA area.

You will work collaboratively with educators and staff, impacting approximately 80 students by fostering their independence and helping them reach their academic goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Experience working with elementary-age students
• Certification required for school-based practice
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, faculty, and parents
• Ability to work flexibly across different campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to an assigned caseload of around 80 elementary students
• Evaluate student needs, develop treatment plans, and support individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapeutic interventions into the educational environment
• Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and families as needed
