This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to partner with a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) while supporting multiple elementary schools. You will work directly with a caseload of roughly 80 students, providing essential therapeutic interventions to enhance their educational experience and foster independence.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience or training in working with elementary-age children
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset for teamwork with teachers, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for students requiring occupational therapy in the school setting
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals and progress
  • Document services and maintain detailed records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Supervise and collaborate closely with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Travel between elementary school sites as needed, ensuring consistent student support
  • Adapt strategies and interventions to address students’ unique needs and promote their participation and success in the classroom
