Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of New Mexico
• Possession of an Educator Certification
• Experience in school-based OT services and/or home health is highly valued
• Adaptable, collaborative, and able to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, tailored to individualized educational plans (IEPs) and specific school requirements
• Assess, evaluate, and create therapy goals to support student progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines and at-home activities
• Document sessions, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support positive student outcomes across varied settings—school, home, and healthcare—using evidence-based practices
