Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license (required)
- New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification (required)
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational or similar settings
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and professional standards
- Offer guidance and resources to families seeking to support students’ growth
