You’ll work 40 hours per week on a 6–12 month contract, bringing your expertise and passion for pediatric occupational therapy to help students achieve their goals and succeed in their daily activities. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapy license in California (required)
  • Expertise working in pediatric or school-based environments
  • Strong interpersonal communication for effective collaboration with children, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs, helping them maximize their participation and independence
  • Preferred experience in assessments, developing IEP goals, and documentation within a school system

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional challenges impacting their educational participation
  • Create and implement customized intervention plans in alignment with educational and therapeutic goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals within the school and clinic environment
  • Document progress, maintain records, and provide input for IEP meetings as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to achieve meaningful outcomes for students across the school year
