Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license in California (required)
- Expertise working in pediatric or school-based environments
- Strong interpersonal communication for effective collaboration with children, parents, and school staff
- Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs, helping them maximize their participation and independence
- Preferred experience in assessments, developing IEP goals, and documentation within a school system
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional challenges impacting their educational participation
- Create and implement customized intervention plans in alignment with educational and therapeutic goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals within the school and clinic environment
- Document progress, maintain records, and provide input for IEP meetings as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices to achieve meaningful outcomes for students across the school year
