Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in California is required
  • Experience providing OT services in schools or pediatric clinics strongly preferred
  • Understanding of school-based therapy protocols and IEP documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, faculty, and families
  • Proven ability to tailor interventions to pediatric and school-aged children
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to compliance and reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students (ages 6-12) in a clinic dedicated to pediatric care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' academic and functional needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development when needed
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports accurately and promptly
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure integrative support for each child
  • Provide guidance and resources to educational teams regarding sensory and motor development
