Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license valid in Illinois
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and parents
- Organized, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions in individual or group sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in parent meetings, IEP teams, and professional development as needed
