Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- School-based or pediatric experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Knowledge of assistive devices and adaptive technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional assessments and observations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct OT services in individual, small group, or classroom settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with staff, and support student transitions
- Educate stakeholders on accommodations and strategies for student access
