Occupational Therapist School Setting - Evansville, WY

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based or pediatric experience highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Knowledge of assistive devices and adaptive technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional assessments and observations to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct OT services in individual, small group, or classroom settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain timely documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, consult with staff, and support student transitions
• Educate stakeholders on accommodations and strategies for student access
