Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT licensure for Washington State
- Prior experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans to address sensory-motor and developmental needs
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to diverse learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to support student participation in daily school activities
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP meetings with clear, concise reporting
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide strategies, modifications, and classroom supports
- Work directly with students individually and in small groups to foster motor, sensory, and self-care independence
- Deliver outreach and education to parents and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and school regulations
