Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapy license in Washington (WA OT)
  • ESA certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based OT services; knowledge of IEP processes
  • Familiarity with teletherapy, home health, and healthcare settings is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Previous work with kindergarten through 8th-grade populations preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to K-8 students, ensuring progress toward educational and developmental goals
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized intervention strategies, adapting them for both in-person and virtual learning environments as needed
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and collaborate in IEP meetings
  • Partner with teachers, counselors, and families to foster student engagement and participation in school activities
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents, promoting carryover of therapeutic techniques into daily routines
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing school-based therapy
