Occupational Therapist School Setting in Everett, WA

If you're a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a fulfilling contract role in a vibrant educational setting, this opportunity could be the perfect fit. Provide essential OT services to young learners in a collaborative, school-based environment serving both elementary and middle school students.

You’ll have the chance to connect with a diverse caseload of approximately 16 students, ages 6 to 14, supporting them in achieving their academic and developmental goals. This contract position is set to begin right away and is projected to continue through the end of the school year, with a manageable schedule of 18 hours per week.

Ideal qualifications and experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington state
• Proven background delivering OT services in school settings
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Deliver direct OT services to students within both elementary and middle school settings
• Monitor progress, document interventions, and report on student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to inform educational strategies
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to promote student independence and success
• Educate staff and families on OT strategies to support students’ functional skills
