You'll support a diverse caseload of 16 students between the ages of 6 and 14, likely working across one middle and one elementary school. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role or working with children ages 6-14
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Comfort in serving multiple school locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized OT plans for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Deliver direct OT interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
- Educate and support staff on strategies to foster student participation in school activities
