Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of IEP process and documentation standards a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on supporting academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into daily routines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student accommodations
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group formats
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to support students’ participation and independence
