Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience working in school environments strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs within the educational environment
• Write, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities
• Provide both direct and consultative services to support students' academic participation
• Maintain thorough and timely records; participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate staff and families on techniques, equipment, and strategies to promote independence
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based OT
