Occupational Therapist School Setting in Everson, WA

This full-time, contract role begins August 27 and offers a consistent weekday schedule, working 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, at a single school site near Everson, WA. You'll serve a diverse caseload of over 50 students, supporting their functional participation and growth throughout the school year until a permanent direct hire is secured.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
• Previous experience working within school settings (required)
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and tailored intervention plans
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Comfortable managing a caseload of 50+ students with varying needs
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for elementary through high school students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services, supporting students’ educational access and participation
• Conduct assessments, contribute to IEPs, and track student progress
• Collaborate daily with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Develop and implement intervention strategies targeting fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills
• Consult with educational teams to modify classroom environments and recommend accommodations
• Maintain timely records and adhere to all district, state, and federal compliance requirements
