What You’ll Need:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT highly valued
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop individualized intervention plans and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong assessment and documentation capabilities
• Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Your Role:

• Evaluate students to identify needs and develop tailored intervention strategies
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations as needed
• Implement therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches to promote student success
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support participation and progress in school activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans
• Support professional growth by staying current with best practices in school-based OT
