School Occupational Therapist - Fairborn, Ohio

This assignment begins on 10/22 and runs through 12/21, offering a consistent weekday schedule with four days per week and a total of 32 hours weekly.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Experience working as a school-based OT preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfortable creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with IEPs and documentation requirements
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities and needs within the educational setting
• Develop and execute customized intervention strategies
• Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
• Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Educate teachers and families on strategies to enhance student participation
• Support students in achieving greater independence in daily school activities
