Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse student needs
- Excellent collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on accommodations or modifications
- Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to teams
- Serve as an educational resource for teachers and families, offering strategies for success in classroom and home environments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated support services
