Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist license
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse student needs
  • Excellent collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on accommodations or modifications
  • Document ongoing progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to teams
  • Serve as an educational resource for teachers and families, offering strategies for success in classroom and home environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated support services
