Embark on an exciting school-based opportunity as an in-person Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position serves students across the Fairfield and Vacaville areas, working directly within educational settings to make a meaningful impact on student development and learning outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state
  • Prior experience providing OT services in school environments, including knowledge of IEP processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Strong documentation and case management proficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans designed to enhance students’ functional performance in the school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate recommended strategies into daily routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting aligned with school and state requirements
  • Offer staff training and support to promote understanding of OT interventions within the classroom
