This position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, and extends through the beginning of December—offering the perfect setting to make a true difference during a key academic time.
You'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth and empowerment, working directly with a diverse group of learners from kindergarten through high school. Your days will include a range of engaging activities, from hands-on interventions with small groups to individualized support, all tailored to help students achieve their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP goals, documentation, and data tracking
- Ability to adapt interventions across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students, both one-on-one and in groups
- Develop and implement IEP-based interventions and strategies
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Consult with teachers and staff to support integration of OT strategies in classroom settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with related service providers
- Adjust techniques to match the unique needs of each age group and caseload
