Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a vibrant area near Fairfield, CT. This position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, and extends through the beginning of December—offering the perfect setting to make a true difference during a key academic time.

You'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student growth and empowerment, working directly with a diverse group of learners from kindergarten through high school. Your days will include a range of engaging activities, from hands-on interventions with small groups to individualized support, all tailored to help students achieve their full potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP goals, documentation, and data tracking
  • Ability to adapt interventions across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services to students, both one-on-one and in groups
  • Develop and implement IEP-based interventions and strategies
  • Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Consult with teachers and staff to support integration of OT strategies in classroom settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with related service providers
  • Adjust techniques to match the unique needs of each age group and caseload
