School Occupational Therapist | Fairview, New Jersey

Step into a rewarding opportunity serving a diverse student population as an Occupational Therapist with a school-based assignment running through June 2027. You'll work collaboratively alongside a fellow OT to provide exceptional support for a dynamic caseload of 59 students, covering grades preschool through eighth. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure required
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Familiarity with delivering services to students from preschool through middle school
• Ability to adapt strategies for a wide age and developmental range
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Committed to fostering engagement, independence, and student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services in accordance with students’ IEPs and school policies
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other service providers
• Conduct assessments and create intervention plans tailored to each student's needs
• Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports
• Support students in achieving their functional, academic, and social goals
• Manage a balanced caseload in cooperation with a co-OT to ensure optimal service coverage
