Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting Pre-K through 4th-grade students as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based, onsite role. This contract position spans from August 25, 2026, through December 23, 2026, allowing you to make a direct impact during a crucial part of the academic year. Your skills will be utilized across two school buildings, working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch each day.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid OT licensure
- Previous experience working with children in school settings, Pre-K to 4th grade preferred
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in report writing and presenting findings to educational teams and families
- Experience with both direct services to students and consultative support for staff
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP goals
- Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to determine students’ needs
- Write clear, concise reports and present findings to school teams and families
- Provide consultative services collaborating with teachers and support staff
- Track, document, and report student progress through detailed progress notes
- Effectively manage a caseload across two school buildings, planning and adapting services as needed
