Elementary Licensed Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fallbrook, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist. Starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year, you’ll work full time in a vibrant educational environment near Fallbrook, CA. Make a meaningful difference by delivering essential therapy services across multiple elementary schools, managing a caseload of approximately 80 students.

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license and certification
• Experience in school-based settings, preferably at the elementary level
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Flexibility to travel between schools as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy to determine needs and develop treatment goals
• Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation to comply with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student growth plans
• Provide strategies and resources for teachers and parents to support students’ participation in school activities
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes throughout the school year
