Certified Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fallbrook, CA

Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential occupational therapy services on a full-time contract basis. This onsite position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and support students’ growth and success throughout the school year. You’ll work directly with children across several elementary schools, making a direct impact on their educational experience.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) certification
• Appropriate licensure to practice as an OT
• Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse student population
• Comfortable working onsite with various elementary school teams
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and reports

Role Highlights:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 80 elementary students
• Work closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support student needs
• Travel between assigned elementary schools as needed
• Benefit from the full-time support of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
