This full-time, onsite contract role is ideal for a certified and licensed OT who excels working with a diverse caseload and enjoys partnering with a dedicated COTA for student support.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: To be determined, likely extending through the end of the current school year

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in California
  • Certification from NBCOT
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy, specifically at the elementary level, preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 80 students across multiple elementary campuses
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students based on IEP requirements
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encourage student growth and independence
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, offering recommendations and progress updates
  • Collaborate closely with the onsite COTA to optimize service delivery and student outcomes
  • Travel across multiple elementary school campuses within the district as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
