This short-term assignment offers a supportive environment and convenient, flexible scheduling just twice a week, with your choice of days between Monday and Thursday. Start July 6th and wrap up on August 6th, making a real impact without a long-term commitment—all while benefiting from prepped materials and organized planning time.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure and credentials as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through high school
- Ability to design and lead engaging group and individual OT sessions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside staff, students, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services for a caseload of approximately 26 students
- Organize and conduct 1x30-minute sessions (with the option to group students as appropriate)
- Utilize ready-to-go materials prepared by each student’s school-based OT
- Participate in 30 minutes of planning and prep time each workday (15 minutes before and after your shift)
- Document services provided and maintain communication as needed with school staff
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment where every student can thrive
