Key Qualities & Experience:
- Current and active North Carolina OT (Occupational Therapist Registered) license required
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive assessments, develop IEP-based interventions, and collaborate with other educational professionals
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
- Evaluate students’ abilities and create individualized goals and treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
- Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Support students in developing the skills necessary for classroom participation, social integration, and independence
- Travel to multiple school sites within the district as needed
