Key Qualities & Experience:

  • Current and active North Carolina OT (Occupational Therapist Registered) license required
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to provide comprehensive assessments, develop IEP-based interventions, and collaborate with other educational professionals
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
  • Evaluate students’ abilities and create individualized goals and treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
  • Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Support students in developing the skills necessary for classroom participation, social integration, and independence
  • Travel to multiple school sites within the district as needed
