What we're looking for:

  • Valid and active OT license in North Carolina
  • OTR/L credentials in good standing
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to therapists with strong pediatric backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans customized to each student’s needs
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Flexibility for working across multiple sites/with multiple students as assigned

What you’ll do:

  • Complete assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students
  • Deliver occupational therapy services within the school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all required reporting guidelines
  • Support students in achieving developmental, academic, and functional goals
  • Adapt interventions to meet dynamic caseload needs during the school year
