Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure for Washington State
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred
- Current Medicaid provider number required
- Established CAQH profile
- Credentialed with multiple insurance providers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver intervention for students as part of their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create customized therapy strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Adapt therapy plans as needed to meet diverse learning needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal planning, and support student progress across school settings
- Stay informed of best practices in school-based occupational therapy
This position is slated to start as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal into the next school year. The weekly schedule includes 35 hours. Caseload specifics will be provided soon to help you plan your approach.
