Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington Occupational Therapy license
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred
- Current Medicaid provider number required
- Established CAQH profile and credentialing with various insurance providers are essential
- School-based OT experience highly desirable
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students (caseload specifics will be confirmed soon)
- Collaborate closely with educators, school teams, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insight to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing support, resources, and education to school staff and parents to enhance students’ functional independence and academic success
- Stay current with best practices and compliance regulations related to school-based therapy services
This full-time position consists of 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year, with an option to renew for next year.
