With a full weekly schedule of 32.5 in-person hours, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and families while building trusting relationships with your K-12 caseload.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to the needs of students across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in their school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop appropriate therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in K-12
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student goals
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and prepare documentation for IEP meetings
  • Provide recommendations for accommodations, equipment, and strategies to maximize student success
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings as required
  • Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and relevant state/federal guidelines
