Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California required
- Prior school-based or pediatric clinic experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Adaptable, proactive, and passionate about helping children achieve their potential
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, ages 6-12, addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP/504 goals
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to maximize student participation in the educational environment
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress notes in accordance with clinic and regional guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of therapy resources
- Provide education and support to teachers and families for generalization of strategies
