Make a meaningful impact supporting children in a collaborative pediatric clinic setting as a contract Occupational Therapist. This full-time opportunity offers a 6 to 12 month commitment with a weekly 40-hour schedule, working alongside a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality services to school-aged children.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about advancing pediatric therapy practices, engaging with diverse learners, and building strong partnerships with families and educational staff.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in California required
  • Prior school-based or pediatric clinic experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Adaptable, proactive, and passionate about helping children achieve their potential

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, ages 6-12, addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP/504 goals
  • Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to maximize student participation in the educational environment
  • Maintain accurate records and timely progress notes in accordance with clinic and regional guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of therapy resources
  • Provide education and support to teachers and families for generalization of strategies
