Occupational Therapist School Setting - Fishers, IN

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students during a maternity leave from November 23 through March 10. You’ll work hand-in-hand with educators and families, helping to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive in and outside the classroom. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing individualized interventions, collaborating on IEPs, and providing both direct and consultative therapy services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous school-based OT experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of service delivery for students in K-12 settings
• Ability to create and implement individualized and group interventions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented, with a collaborative and flexible approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapy and consultation services for children with a range of abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff on IEP development and implementation
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with state, federal, and school guidelines
• Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process
• Contribute to a positive and productive school environment throughout the assignment
