Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Indiana, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Ability to adapt and creatively problem-solve in a dynamic school environment
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor skills, functional abilities, and needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in various learning environments
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Offer recommendations and training to teachers and parents for classroom modifications and at-home support
• Support ongoing professional development and participate actively in school meetings
