Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois state OT license
- School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services to students according to IEPs and best practices
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support academic and functional success
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and school-based activities as needed
