Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early intervention as an Occupational Therapist near Flint, MI. This position provides dedicated coverage during an OT leave, allowing you to make a significant impact from November 11th through February 19th. You’ll benefit from an organized handoff, as you’ll overlap with the current OT for a week to facilitate a seamless transition.

This full-time role focuses on a caseload serving children from birth to age three, empowering families and enabling the youngest learners to thrive in their development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Michigan OT license
  • Experience or comfort working with early childhood or pediatric caseloads preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in fast-paced school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to children birth to three
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations
  • Develop individualized goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including families and educators
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
  • Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff
  • Participate in team meetings as needed
