Step into a rewarding contract role providing Occupational Therapy coverage in an educational setting. This opportunity begins in November, offering a minimum of nine weeks of coverage—with the possibility of extension—working full-time hours to support a dynamic and engaging caseload (to be determined). You’ll play a vital role in fostering students’ growth and independence, collaborating alongside dedicated educators and support staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois state OT license
  • School-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services to students according to IEPs and best practices
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support academic and functional success
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and school-based activities as needed
