High School Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting - Florence, SC

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid state OT license required
• Active OT certification
• Experience working with K-12 students, including elementary, middle, and high school groups
• Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with each student’s IEP, modifying techniques as needed to support progress
• Complete all necessary Medicaid billing documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Document and articulate OT present levels in each student’s IEP, noting strengths, needs, and progress toward goals
• Develop meaningful OT goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring goals are measurable and individualized
• Prepare and submit progress reports for each assigned student, maintaining open communication with teachers and family members
