Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active OT license and relevant state certification
  • Experience working with students in K-12 environments, including elementary, middle, and high school
  • Solid understanding of IEPs and special education processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills
  • Previous experience with Medicaid billing in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with each student’s IEP objectives
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing updates on present levels and progress
  • Develop and document individualized OT goals and track student achievement
  • Complete Medicaid billing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain comprehensive records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student outcomes
  • Communicate regularly with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
