What’s Needed for Success:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
- Proven experience or clinical placements in a school-based OT setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Compassionate, adaptable, and skilled at motivating students
- Ability to travel between school sites in the Florissant and St. Louis areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess students’ functional performance and develop intervention plans that support educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop accessible learning strategies and classroom modifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and ongoing communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills vital for school success
