School Occupational Therapist | Florissant, Missouri

This on-site contract role involves serving three schools in a supportive district environment near Florissant, MO. As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on learners ranging from elementary through high school age. This position is available for immediate start and continues through late May 2027, offering stability and valuable experience in school-based practice.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current Missouri Occupational Therapy License required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
• Compliance with district credentialing, including fingerprinting (submission of TCN number required) and completion of a technology agreement form

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Travel between and manage caseloads at Barrington Elementary, North Middle, and West High School within the Hazelwood area
• Evaluate, document, and report on student progress, tailoring interventions to individual needs
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and access to learning
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for program planning
