Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, direct interventions, and legal compliance in educational environments
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a diverse range of needs
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational access and skill development
  • Maintain thorough records of evaluations, progress notes, and service delivery
  • Serve as a resource to staff and parents regarding occupational therapy strategies and accommodations
  • Adapt interventions to fit classroom routines and promote student participation
