This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in early childhood development, covering a leave from November 11 through February 19. You'll enjoy a supportive transition period by overlapping with the current OT for one week, ensuring a seamless experience for students and staff.

Requirements for success in this position:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current, active Michigan state licensure to practice as an OT
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and servicing a birth-to-three caseload in an educational environment
  • Collaborating with educators, service coordinators, and families to create effective therapy plans
  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized interventions to address students’ needs
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Participating in meetings and transition processes with school staff
  • Fostering growth, independence, and participation for young learners during a pivotal stage

This full-time (40 hours per week) position is conveniently located near Flushing, MI, offering you work-life balance and professional satisfaction.
