Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Active California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience within school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IDEA and IEP process
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducing assessments and developing targeted intervention plans
  • Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services for students
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to shape student IEP goals and progress
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Providing support and resources to educators and family members
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to team discussions
  • Promoting student skill development across fine motor, sensory, and daily living areas
