Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license
  • Previous experience working in school systems or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and individualized interventions
  • Adaptable and organized, with a passion for supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine their unique therapy needs within the school context
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups, focused on building functional and academic skills
  • Work alongside teachers, parents, and school staff to support generalization of skills into the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal writing and progress updates
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
