Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience working in school systems or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and individualized interventions
- Adaptable and organized, with a passion for supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine their unique therapy needs within the school context
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups, focused on building functional and academic skills
- Work alongside teachers, parents, and school staff to support generalization of skills into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal writing and progress updates
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
