Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience in school settings supporting students with physical, developmental, and multiple disabilities
- Skillful in administering BOT-3 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency) and Peabody Developmental Motor Scales
- Strong data analysis skills to guide recommendations and address parent concerns effectively
- Comfortable with a fluctuating caseload and adaptable to changing needs across the district
- Ability to travel between school sites regularly (mileage reimbursement is not provided)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive motor assessments for students ages 3–22
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services for a diverse caseload
- Document progress and prepare reports for IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with staff and families to support student participation and success
- Adapt and modify materials or environments to facilitate access and engagement
- Respond to emerging needs by prioritizing caseload in line with district goals
