Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Valid California OT license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-help strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, families, and support staff—to coordinate interventions and adapt classroom environments
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students receiving occupational therapy
• Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Conduct assessments and create strategies tailored to meet each student’s unique needs
• Educate and support school staff and families with training or resources as appropriate
