This contract position is designed to cover a leave of absence starting from mid-August and continuing through January 2027, offering valuable experience working with students in an educational environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience providing OT services in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Proficiency with fine motor development interventions
  • Capability to deliver both in-person and teletherapy services
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions for students
  • Support student goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation
  • Maintain effective documentation and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
  • Flexibility to work on-site and via teletherapy, adapting to student needs
