Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active OT licensure in California
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and goal development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to varied abilities and settings
- Commitment to fostering inclusion, independence, and growth for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the classroom and other school environments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress toward IEP objectives
- Provide input for IEP meetings and partner in goal development
- Adapt classroom materials and recommend strategies to aid student participation
