Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Certification to practice as an OT
- Experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred)
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to various developmental stages
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Capacity to manage a caseload of 50-55 students with a variety of needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support students’ educational participation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate strategies into daily activities
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other team discussions
