Your assignment will span the academic year, starting August 3, 2026, and concluding June 4, 2027. Preferred Background and Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license recognized by the state board
  • Current OT certification
  • Previous experience working in schools (elementary, middle, and high school preferred)
  • Solid understanding of IEP documentation and goal writing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to organize and manage a caseload of 50-55 students with varying needs
  • Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills for diverse learning environments

Typical Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrative staff to integrate OT supports within classroom settings
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and family communications
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in alignment with school and legal requirements
