This full-time position offers you the chance to empower students and support their growth from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027. You'll have the meaningful responsibility of managing a mixed caseload of approximately 50-55 students, tailoring your expertise to diverse needs and age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy state certification and licensure
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Ability to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to multicultural sensitivity and providing equitable support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement therapy to facilitate student participation in educational activities
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and professional standards
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to a diverse student caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to support student outcomes
