Occupational Therapist School Setting - Foresthill, CA

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in California
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Proficiency in providing therapy to K-12th grade students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Familiarity with relevant documentation and compliance standards for educational settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Document sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with state and district policies
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to integrate therapy into academic routines
• Educate and guide school staff and families on effective support strategies
• Support students' development of fine motor, sensory, and functional skills necessary for classroom success
