Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for California
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload

  • Strong collaboration abilities with educational staff, students, and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic techniques in classroom routines
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and strategies for student success
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services and adapt interventions to fit individual student needs
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote daily living and academic skills
