Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for California
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong collaboration abilities with educational staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic techniques in classroom routines
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and strategies for student success
- Provide direct occupational therapy services and adapt interventions to fit individual student needs
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote daily living and academic skills
