Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fort Jones, CA

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work with K-12 students in a school setting near Fort Jones, CA. Ideal candidates possess:

• A valid Occupational Therapy license in California
• Prior experience providing OT services in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with diverse K-12 caseloads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, students, and families
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students’ diverse needs

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals
• Conducting evaluations to determine students’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
• Consulting with teachers and other school staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing expert input for student development
• Adapting therapy techniques and interventions for a range of ages and abilities
