Occupational Therapist School Setting - Fort Lauderdale, FL

This role blends on-site and VOCO (virtual/remote) service delivery, offering flexibility and variety in your weekly routine.

Work across engaging educational environments, including Bonita Springs Charter School (Lee County), Innovation Prep (Naples), and Dural schools (K-12). With a manageable caseload, your expertise will make a measurable impact on student success and development, all while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
• Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
• Skilled in IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and school staff
• Comfortable with virtual service delivery platforms (VOCO)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility to manage short on-site and virtual sessions effectively
• Familiarity with K-12 age populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT support to students both in-person and virtually
• Schedule and deliver services:
  • Bonita Springs Charter (30 mins/week)
  • Innovation Prep (2-3 hours/week)
  • Dural (30 mins and 90 mins/week sessions)
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation
• Communicate progress with parents, teachers, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful recommendations
• Adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs and environments
