This position is located near Fort Lauderdale, FL and offers flexibility in scheduling. Candidates may choose between full-time or part-time employment, and a hybrid work arrangement can be considered for the right applicant. You’ll collaborate on-site, and possibly remotely, delivering therapeutic interventions and addressing the diverse developmental needs of students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials valid for Florida
  • Experience delivering OT services in school settings across multiple grade levels (Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and High School)
  • Adaptable communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centered approach
  • Ability to organize workload and manage documentation efficiently
  • Comfortable supporting both general and special education populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapy for students referred for OT services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with special education teams and classroom teachers
  • Monitor progress, maintain precise records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide consultation, strategies, and training for educators and families to help students access the curriculum and reach their goals
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to assure holistic student support
