Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license in Florida (or ability to obtain before start)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Previous supervisory experience or willingness to supervise a COTA
- Strong communication, organizational, and multi-setting adaptability skills
- Understanding of teletherapy practices is beneficial
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and virtual occupational therapy services across seven schools
- Oversee and collaborate with a COTA to ensure best practices
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized programs for student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold IEP compliance
- Consult with educators and families to maximize student progress
