Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and school staff
- Ability to assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ abilities to participate in daily school routines
- Develop and execute individualized intervention plans to enhance students’ fine motor, self-care, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into daily instruction
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to align with federal, state, and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input for student goals and progress
- Share strategies and resources to empower classrooms and support student success
